Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is the best naval museum in the country and around forty minutes from Southampton port. It holds three of the most important warships ever built — Nelson’s HMS Victory, the Tudor warship Mary Rose recovered from the sea floor in 1982, and HMS Warrior, the world’s first iron-hulled warship.
The all-attraction ticket includes everything and is valid for a full day, so we don’t rush. You choose what to see and how long to spend on each ship — I drop you at the dockyard gates and collect at a pre-agreed time.
